People, seats and sharing
Seats
A seat is one person with their own workspace on your account. Every plan includes two seats. On Pro you can add more for $25 a month each; Standard stays at two.
Each person signs in with their own email, and gets their own workspace address on the account.
Adding and removing people
On Standard, go to Settings → Plan & account. The seat list shows who holds each seat; choose New person for the empty one. On Standard the second person runs the account with you, including billing.
On Pro, choose Open the account console in Settings → Plan & account. The console is where you add and remove people and set what each one can do.
TabulaKit doesn’t send the new person an email. Tell them their workspace address; they sign in with their own email, using Google or a code sent to them.
When you remove someone, they lose their seat and their workspace. What they shared stays on the account. If they are the only owner of a project, hand it to someone else first.
Roles
| role | can |
|---|---|
| Administrator | run the account, its plan and its people |
| Member | work on everything shared with them |
| Reader | view, without changing anything |
An account always keeps at least one Administrator.
Sharing a project
A project starts out as yours. To work on it with someone else on the account, open the project’s Sharing settings and add them as:
- owner: can change it and who has access to it,
- editor: can change it,
- commenter: can leave comments, or edit a private copy.
Someone who isn’t on the list can’t see the project at all. Only an owner can change who has access.
Sharing a project is different from letting people see its published site. For that, see who can see a site.
